It's been a while...

It's been several "happy holidays," "happy birthdays" & a "happy new year" since I wrote last. Oops! Sorry-not-sorry though, because I've been busy -- more-so in my 9 to 5 librarian life than my art studio life, but busy nonetheless.

Here are some pictures of our humble adventures since we spoke last:

So, there you have it. I haven't been a total creative delinquent! Hope to have some of those t-shirts & the hand-spun yarn up in the shop soon. I'll also be dyeing more scarves in the coming weeks, and some hand-dyed fiber to spin, too?

Until then! ;)

Is it fall yet?

I refuse to believe fall is right around the corner here in upstate New York, but it's true!

Gary and I will be celebrating the fall harvest in Sharon Springs this season -- so if you're in town this coming weekend (Sept. 17th & 18th), stop by to see us! We'll have a booth full of hand-dyed t-shirts, scarves, and yarn, as well as some handwoven goodies made by yours truly. :)

In the meantime, here's some more info about the Sharon Springs Harvest Festival here. Hope we see you soon!

Our First Outing: Spring Fling, 2016

What a wild ride May has been! And it all culminated last Saturday at Spring Fling, an annual event hosted by our local Rotary Club here in Cooperstown.

It was so much fun getting out and meeting the community. I absolutely love meeting other fiber-lovers so much, and so many friendly faces stopped by to say hello.

A huge "thank you" is due to Sue & Ike at Patchwork Meadow Farms for helping Gary & I set-up our tent. If you're ever passing through Central New York, make plans to stop by their farm in Canajoharie -- their alpacas are absolutely gorgeous.

I'll leave you with some of our scarves below. Hope everyone out there is enjoying spring!

1st Blog? 1st Blog!

Going to keep this first blog entry light. Plan is to post all sorts of fun fiber related stuff here - dye techniques! trivia! patterns! - but for now, our grind is all about setting up shop. And, of course, photographing some awesome handmade items so you can see what we've been working on.

Stay tuned for more soon! :)

In the meantime, you can learn more about BST here - and if you have any questions, please contact us!
